Sharing a small collection of images from a recent creative photography session, hosted by: Creating Your Vision workshop at Attleboro Arts Museum.

Camera: Nikon Z7ii
Lens: Lensbaby Edge 80

Edited with all sorts of different techniques and overlays.

To be honest, I had a hard time with this session. I am not used to shooting in a wide open room. And I still have a hard time directing people. However, I was much more comfortable when taking images of this little dancer. Maybe it’s because I’ve spent years photographing my kids just running and being kids. Maybe it’s because I asked her to twirl around and do some jumps (basically move! have fun!). They felt easier to do.

There’s another workshop coming up this weekend. I’m planning to go again. Planning to keep working on my people directing skills (lololololol, if you saw my home life, you’d see that’s a constant uphill battle). My whole style is basically: Lifestyle/Documentary or I get creative in editing (but majority of the images are taken with a more docu-lifestyle approach). But, I’ll continue working on it. Maybe one day I will become an extrovert for long enough to tell people how to tilt their heads and where to look, lol!
